JANUARY ORDERS SHIPPING
Shipments by MNP of orders placed in January prior to Epicure's bankruptcy have started arriving via FedEx. Liquidation sale orders are still being processed.
It would appear the trustee is emptying the warehouse of older inventory as well as products that were distributed under the most recent Epicure identity.
At least one buyer has reported receiving product with the VE (Victorian Epicure) label.

Liquidation sale items were sold "As is" so I guess now we know what that meant. But if they are going to empty the warehouse of literally everything marketable, it begs the question: Are older products safe to use?
SPICE & HERB STORAGE TIPS
Herbs and spices do not spoil. They are dried products so kept in the right conditions they will be good to use, just may lose their potency over time.
Epicure’s advice has always been that their products, stored properly, are good for 2 to 4 years. That is, if they are sealed and stored in cool, dry conditions. This describes a typical warehouse environment, so I am confident in using them myself, regardless of the label design.
*The only exception to this may be any products that contain dairy ingredients, like CCB and Mac ‘n’ Cheese.
As for their potency, you may have to use a bit more of a product to get the same result. And a little less potency from some of the spicier items would be welcome in some households, including mine.

LIMIT TO PURCHASES
Has it really only been 2 weeks since Epicure shut its doors? Based on my experiences with products in high demand over the last two weeks, it seems only fair to limit the number of certain items that can be purchased.
For example, there is a limit of 4 packets of Mac ‘n’ Cheese per order; 2 jars of Big Burger Sauce; and 1 jar each of 3 Onion, Lemon Dilly and CCB.
PRICING POLICY
On the subject of buying stock from former Epicure ambassadors, pricing products for sale on the shop site is a balancing act.
On the one hand, I want to offer the most I can afford so that these reps can get as much of their investment back as possible. On the other hand, I want to make the products as affordable as possible for buyers who have come to depend upon the clean eating options Epicure made available.
And in the process, I have costs to cover and I would like to realize some income from this little venture as well.
Oh, and Epicure under administration by the trustee isn’t offering any deep discounts either. At least, not yet. Popular products like the Extraordinary Trio were only available at full price on the website. I have to buy at full list price and mark it up from there to cover my costs, etc.
FINALLY
I haven’t been in touch lately simply because Epicure’s closure caused my little side hustle to turn into a full-time job.
A little history here: I started this shop buying inventory from former reps who had left the organization, and customers who had accumulated quite a bit of Epicure and wanted to declutter their cupboards and pantries. Quite literally overnight, I became very busy managing the purchasing, receiving, marketing, sales and shipping departments. My wonderful husband helped me make “buying trips” in and around Edmonton as well as drop-offs at the local post office.
I was fielding queries by former ambassadors with stock they wanted to sell as well as frantic buyers with sincerely serious needs for many of these products.
But the most amazing thing about all this is that not once have I been “stiffed” by a seller or a buyer. This community really is amazing. Someone would be smart to recognize that and rescue Epicure from oblivion.
